Ted Delphia and his family will be in the UK late March / early April, and have had their Invicta shipped over from the USA so that they can drive it in this country.
They would love to meet as many Invicta owners as possible whilst they are here, and with that in mind, we are holding an informal lunchtime Invicta meeting for them in the New Forest on Saturday 1st April, when they will be in the area.
The venue is a traditional pub, The Fighting Cocks, Godshill and we have reserved tables from mid-day onwards. The pub has plenty of parking, and is on the open forest.
Please do support this meeting if you can. Ted is very keen to meet fellow club members, and whilst he would love to see plenty of Invictas too, if the weather is not conducive to that, please do come along anyway in whatever vehicle you feel is suitable on the day – old or modern.
Registration: Please let the organiser know if you are intending to come so we can give the pub some idea of numbers for lunches.
Club Organiser: Jo Moss-Kitcher, Email [email protected] or phone 01590 645311 or 07799 720507
Additional Directions: If you are approaching from the motorway, you can leave the M27 at Cadnam, heading for Bramshaw, and then drive through the forest via a road called Roger Penny Way (B3078) which takes you across several miles of beautiful open forest and heathland, and straight to the pub. Please be aware that it is a 40mph speed limit though, and keep a good eye out for ponies and cattle that tend to wander into the road in front of you (they have right of way and there are no fences).
